Hard water causes scaling in the steam humidifier. The use of the demineralization cartridge can reduce this negative effect significantly.
The cartridge is screwed into the water tank of the humidifier after it is placed before the first use 24 hours in water. The odorless resin must first absorb water to reach full capacity.
There are two ways to replace the demineralization cartridge after consumption, replace either just the granules inside (only possible with demineralization cartridges Premium) or replace the entire cartridge (possible with demineralization cartridges Premium and Economy).
