The Arcadia compact bird lamp in the form of an energy-saving lamp has been specially designed to provide an artificial source of vital UV rays for birds that do not receive direct sunlight. Unlike normal fluorescent tubes, the compact Arcadia Bird Lamp contains special phosphor that emits UV light. This means that this bird lamp from Arcadia can replicate the light spectrum of the sun, including 12% UV-A and 2.4% UV-B components. It ensures wonderfully natural, shimmering colors and improves feeding and breeding behavior.
The lamp is electronically controlled - no flickering, even for birds' eyes. It contains an energy-saving 20W bulb with an E27 screw socket; the power is equivalent to that of a 100W light bulb.
The lamp should be replaced every 6 months as the UV content decreases over time.
